Mooncut LLC ("Mooncut," "we," "us," or "our") reserves the right to change or modify this Agreement, and any policy or guideline incorporated by reference, at any time and at its sole discretion.
By checking the acceptance box during the checkout process (required to complete your order), you ("Customer," "you") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
Any updates or modifications will be posted at www.mooncut.com/terms and become effective immediately upon posting. You are responsible for regularly reviewing the Site for updates. Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of any changes. If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately and notify Mooncut of your intent to cancel.
Mooncut provides subscription-based video editing services designed to deliver high-quality creative outputs on a recurring basis.
Each subscription includes access to a dedicated creative team consisting of a Project Manager, Creative Producer, and assigned Video Editor. Projects are handled one at a time to ensure quality and consistency. Once a project is marked "Completed," the next queued request will begin.
Before beginning each request, you may specify your desired deadline, and our team will confirm an agreed-upon timeline. Providing additional time enables our editors to deliver work with greater creative depth and higher production quality, without affecting the number of hours allocated under your plan.
If multiple requests are submitted, you may assign priority levels to each project. Our team will process and complete requests in accordance with these priorities.
Upon submission of a new project, Mooncut will review the materials and provide an estimated completion date within 24 hours. You may approve the proposed estimate or request modifications. If no adjustments are requested, Mooncut will follow its standard production schedule and ensure the project is completed by the agreed-upon deadline.
Editable project files are included for clients enrolled in Pro packages. AI-assisted editing tools may be utilized only if the Client has purchased the corresponding add-on. Use of AI tools is optional and will be incorporated solely at the Client's election.
Our delivery time can change based on how complex your project is and how quickly you respond. All timelines are estimates, not guarantees.
In addition to subscription-based services, Mooncut also offers one-off project work when requested. One-off projects are billed at $35 per hour, based on the estimated number of hours needed for completion. An estimate will be provided prior to beginning the work; however, the final cost will reflect the actual hours required.
Editors for one-off projects are assigned based on availability. All Mooncut editors are highly experienced and fully trained, and we ensure consistent quality regardless of which team member is assigned to your project.
All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of the billing period. You authorize Mooncut to charge your saved payment method on each renewal date unless canceled in accordance with this Agreement.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the client portal or by contacting your project manager at hello@mooncut.video, at least 5 business days before your next billing date.
Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the service until the end of the current billing term. Once your subscription ends, your account and files will no longer be accessible.
If payment fails or is not received, Mooncut may suspend or terminate access to services until payment is resolved.
We strive for customer satisfaction and offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new customers, beginning from your subscription date.
Refund requests must be made in writing to hello@mooncut.video.
Refunds may be subject to deduction of third-party payment processing fees (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, credit card, or currency conversion fees). These fees are non-refundable.
Beyond this period, payments are non-refundable, and no partial credits are issued for unused time.
Refunds may also apply within one business day after renewal if no projects have been uploaded.
Mooncut's services are intended for reasonable use by individual clients or agencies. Our plans are not designed to replace full-time, on-staff video editors.
Misuse, account sharing, or abusive behavior toward staff will result in account termination.
Turnaround times and creative output depend on complexity, project volume, and timely client feedback. While Mooncut accepts unlimited requests and revisions, only one active project will be worked on at a time.
Customers retain full ownership of all original content and final video deliverables produced by Mooncut.
By submitting a project request, you grant Mooncut the rights necessary to edit and process your materials, as well as permission to store archival copies for recordkeeping.
By default, you also grant Mooncut a non-exclusive license to display completed work in our portfolio, website, social media, or marketing materials. If you wish to revoke this right, please send a written request to hello@mooncut.video.
While we strive for excellence, creative work may contain minor imperfections. You agree to review and proof all deliverables and notify Mooncut of any required corrections within a reasonable time frame.
Mooncut will not be liable for:
In no event shall Mooncut's total liability exceed fifty dollars ($50 USD), regardless of the cause of action, in tort, contract, or otherwise.
During your engagement with Mooncut and for two (2) years following its termination, you agree not to solicit or hire any Mooncut employee, contractor, or freelancer, either directly or indirectly, without prior written consent.
Mooncut operates Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (U.S. Eastern Time).
